ABOUT PROF. S GOPAL

    • S Gopal hailed from Hoskote Taluk in Bangalore Rural Dist.
    • He worked as Professor at DOS in Physics, University of Mysore.
    • He served as Vice-Chancellor of Mangalore University (October 1995- October 2001).
    • He offered 30 years of service at the university in various capacities, such as member of the Senate, Academic Council, Syndicate and Dean of Faculty of Science, University of Mysore.
    • He served as a member of several professional bodies;
    • Vice-President of the Indian Physical Society, Kolkata
    • Member of the Indian Physics Association & Radiation Physics Association.
    • Member of the West Germany Physics Society.
    • Member of the Indian Academy of Science.
